Q: Which hero slot matters when I join a rally?

Joiner First-Slot Rule Only the first hero slot contributes to joiner skill effects. Key mechanics Only the first expedition skill of that first-slot hero can be added. A rally uses up to four extra joiner skills total. Second and third hero slots mostly matter for carrying more troops. Joiner gear, research, and buffs do not define rally stats; rally leader stats do. Stacking tip Mixing compatible heroes with different effect identifiers can produce stronger multiplicative gains than repeating the same hero four times.
